EGO: A Personal Project
This was an individual school project aimed at exploring our own personalities. The project brief was as followed:
This project required us to play around with colours and apply the knowledge of colour theories to create 12 different illustrations.
First Row:
The concept: The story behind this is that I can’t function well in the morning because I’m a night owl, so in the morning, I’m just like a walking corpse, or also known as a zombie.
Colours used:
Second Row:
The concept: The story behind this row is that I’m both a cool and fierce person, and if I were to be in a very heated argument, or in an exaggerated fashion, war, I would shoot blades at my enemies. The blades shot are representative of my words, because I’m aware that I’m brutally honest, which could be hurtful, but sometimes, the truth needs to be told.
Colours used:
Third Row:
The concept: The story behind this row is how I dislike shopping. I chose a sloth because sloths have long limbs and are quite lazy, which is quite similar to me when it comes to shopping. Shopping is something that I don't really fancy, as I only shop if I have something specific to puchase. Usually when I'm out shopping with family or friends, I will always be on a lookout for seats to sit while they are browsing through items becuase I get tired easily walking around.
Colours used:
Fourth Row:
The concept: The story behind this row is how after I go to art school, I become a more skillful person as represented by the polished ice sculpture from just an initial cube of ice.
